The No Hate Speech Network brought young activists together in Brussels to turn local actions into long-term impact against hate speech. The participants shared experiences, shaped strategy and connected with decision-makers, which empowered them to strengthen both national and international cooperation.
From June 29 to July 4, 2025, the No Hate Speech Network brought together 40+ youth activists, human rights defenders, and youth workers from 20 different countries for the international conference “Changing Narratives: Taking Action Against Hate” in the beautiful town of Trenčín, Slovakia.

Join the No Hate Speech Network’s Academy of Activists 2024!
Are you a passionate human rights activist committed to combating hate speech, but feel isolated in facing the invisible online threats and frustrated when trying to make a change in online space?
Let’s come together and establish the Academy of Activists 2024 within the No Hate Speech Network to amplify our impact through collective campaigning and awareness-raising efforts.
“Activist for change: Standing up for human rights and democracy” study session will bring together 35 activists from different countries to mobilise the community of activists to create an online digital campaign promoting human rights and democracy.
