In 2025 we launched our first edition of Changing Narratives programme. It all started in Trenčín, where we 40 young people from more than 20 countries met. We equipped them with knowledge, motivation and inspiration to hold pilot actions focused on tackling hate speech in their local communities.
Their efforts resulted in 25 activities and 3 campaigns in 14 countries, which they then presented in Brussels – not only to each other, but also to other stakeholders including MEP Rasmus Nordqvist. You can view the overview of pilot actions implemented in 2025 here.
As we saw its impact and relevance, we decided to repeat it with some improvements. In 2026 and 2027 the pilot actions will become pilot projects – participants are expected to build small teams around them and cooperate with other relevant stakeholders in their local context.
